Are we talking about real trains here? Or is this a metaphorical trainwreck? Like, you know, Anna Nicole Simpson’s trainwreck of a life?
Metaporically, being a trainwreck is much worse, literal to metaphorical (I'm assuming since I don't think I can morph into an actual train like a Transformer, at least the last time I tried I couldn't) then watching one is much worse.
Assuming the metaphorical here, I would say being the trainwreck is worse. You can always close your eyes or turn away if you are watching. And while there is a certain risk in watching that you may get struck by some of the "debris," you are 100% guaranteed to be damaged from your own trainwreck.
But from what I've seen, it's not often that trainwrecks recognize their own twisted rails and jack-knifed sleeper cars. They tend to remain blissfully ignorant of the destruction and mayhem in their wake. So color me undecided.
I would say, being a trainwreck. You would know. You have seen me in action in public.
Tears were shred. Babies were scared.
It's not pretty.
I like choo-choos.
Ah've always said it's better to live in the ugliest house on the block than to live across from it and havetah look at it.
Being a train wreck is definately worse. Watching a train wreck can end by looking elsewhere. Being a train wreck is a daily torment you can only let it stop and try to clear the wreckage one piece at a time.
